We're recruiting for an EC&I Technician to join the maintenance team at a CHP facility in Cumbria, where you'll provide technical support, fault resolution, and ongoing improvement across critical C&I systems.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team, work in a modern facility, and benefit from excellent training and progression opportunities.✅ Key Responsibilities:Carry out electrical, control & instrumentation maintenance across the plant.Support site safety schemes, including incident investigations and near-miss reporting.Ensure all C&I assets comply with HSEQ standards.Perform fault finding, testing, and system implementation (including SCADA).Develop and implement engineering procedures, instructions, and method statements.Provide support during planned and unplanned outages.Candidate Profile:Experience in Energy from Waste or power generation (advantageous).Open to candidates from heavy process industries (petrochemical, oil & gas, offshore, anaerobic digestion).Engineers with a Royal Navy background will also be considered.Recognised EC&I apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation.Strong problem-solving and technical skills with a safety-first mindset.What's in it for you:Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)Bonus structure + private medical + income protectionMonday-Friday role (good work-life balance)Extensive training and development opportunitiesClear progression path within a stable and growing energy providerApply now with your CV or call Ashley on 01329 221 399 for more information.Not for you?
