Purton Surgery is looking for a part time Practice Nurse to join our 5-strong nursing team.We have 9 GPs, a prescribing Nurse Practitioner, 2 Health Care Assistants, fully supported by a comprehensive administration and reception team to look after our 11,000 patients.16 - 24 hours per week, salary dependent on experience.Main duties of the jobTo be responsible for the delivery of practice nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice, the NMC code of conduct and professional boundaries to the patient population. The practice nurse will be responsible for several clinical areas such as infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management and health prevention, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure.About usPurton Surgery is a very friendly and well-respected GP practice.
