The Finance Administrator role provides essential support to the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring smooth financial operations and accurate record-keeping. Based near Banbury, this permanent position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a desire to develop within an accounting role.The Finance Administrator will support the Finance department with a wide range of tasks including:
  • Purchase Ledger - Keeping Us on Track - Check, match and process purchase invoices accurately
  • Keep payment records up to date and help prepare weekly payment runs
  • Keep the Purchase Ledger tidy, balanced and ready to report
  • Manage the Finance Inbox and respond promptly
  • Reconcile company credit card statements
  • Support our Revolut card programme - check, reconcile and process transactions
  • Look after petty cash (GBP, EURO & USD)
  • Sales Ledger - Supporting Cash Flow
  • Raise and send sales invoices on time
  • Support credit control - build positive relationships while ensuring payments arrive promptly
  • Operational Support - Helping the Team Work Better
  • Order office supplies so everyone has what they need
  • Liaise with suppliers for routine checks and maintenance (fire alarms, security)
  • Pitch in with extra finance or office tasks as needed
  • Embrace AI and smart tools to automate repetitive tasks
  • Look for ways to make processes simpler and quicker - and share your ideas with the team
Varied accounting position, ideal for someone studying the AATHybrid working patternA successful Finance Administrator should have:
  • Some previous experience in finance and keen to develop further

  • Computer-literate (SAGE experience is a bonus)
