Role: Passive Fire Project Manager (Fire Doors)Location: BasildonSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annumTechnical Resources are recruiting for a Passive Fire Project Manager in Basildon. This role focuses on fire door installation, upgrades, and maintenance projects across Kent and Essex, where you'll take ownership of multiple contracts from planning through to delivery. You'll ensure projects run on time, within budget, and in compliance with strict fire safety standards, while leading teams and engaging with clients to maintain the highest levels of quality and compliance.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage fire door projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee planning, resourcing, and delivery to agreed operational, financial, and safety targets.
  • Ensure compliance with passive fire protection legislation, British Standards, and third-party accreditation schemes.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain communication and satisfaction.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Monitor quality and performance through inspections and audits.
  • Provide technical guidance and promote best practice installation.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Drive a culture of health, safety, and compliance across projects.
Experience and Certifications Required:
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager within passive fire protection, specifically fire doors.
  • Strong knowledge of fire door regulations, installation standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with full commercial responsibility.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong IT and reporting skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
