Reporting to the Electrical Director, you will be responsible for:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical engineers on-site, ensuring safe and effective delivery of work scopes.
- Providing engineering solutions when immediate spares aren’t available (retrofitting, reverse engineering or modifying equipment)
- Take ownership of project execution, including HSE, quality assurance, budget oversight, and deliverables.
- Plan, organise, and resource field service projects including outages and shutdowns.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities within current customers to bid for additional work to further grow the business and add value to the relationship.
- Ensure compliance with company and site-specific safety and quality standards.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Time Served Apprenticeship in a Electrical Engineering field
- Strong experience working with transformers, switchgear, motors, drives, electrical distribution plant etc
- Experience working in a heavy process environment such as a power station, refinery, chemical plant or paper mill.
- As this is a field based role, a full UK driving licence is a necessity
