- Ensuring that all settlements are executed in a timely manner
- Daily management of Railsr safeguarding process (calculation and movement of funds).
- Executing cash movements to ensure sufficient liquidity across all accounts/markets.
- Daily review of balances and reporting/investigation of irregularities.
- Providing daily and ad hoc reporting on client/bank balances.
- Monitoring customer positions and escalating funding issues appropriately.
- Ensuring procedures and processes are kept up to date, reviewed and tested on a frequent basis.
- Strong risk mindset, ensuring that risks are identified, tracked and mitigated
- Generate and deliver continuous improvement to processes to enhance liquidity management capabilities
- Participate in key decision making processes which impact Treasury
- Preparing and compiling the monthly Safeguarding Committee pack by gathering all the required information and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all data and reports included in the pack
- Excellent Communicator. Beyond knowing what to say and how to say it, you communicate effectively across the experience / management spectrum, can ‘translate’ between technical and non-technical teams, and can empathetically communicate a customer’s pain to internal Railsr teams.

- Experience in a treasury operations/payments role, ideally in a Fintech or Banking.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a start-up/scale-up.
- Knowledge and experience of either reconciliations, safeguarding or client money.
- Solid understanding of either settlements, payments, or cash management (in a
- financial services setting).
- Experience in a high-risk environment within financial services, with understanding of how to implement controls.
- Strong knowledge of Excel/Google sheets formulas
- Experience of improving manual processes
- Ability to partner with internal and external counterparts, and build solid working relationships
