Job Details:Job Reference: HCC622100Salary Range: £40,643 - £45,077 per annumWork Location: Elizabeth II Court, WinchesterHours per week: 37Contract Type: PermanentClosing Date: 11 September 2025The Role:In this varied role, you’ll join our Senior Management Team as a Governance and Quality Lead, shaping and overseeing the approach to quality across all residential, nursing services and day services within HCC Adults’ Health and Care. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring that everyone in receipt of our services, experiences the best possible standards of care and support.What you’ll do:
  • Influence and shape the development of high-quality services.
  • Ensure in-house services operate in line with the overall quality strategy for the directorate.
  • Ensure robust processes are in place to address quality concerns and develop and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Review and enhance systems for monitoring and responding to quality concerns.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with CQC, other strategic bodies and national organisations.
  • Use your knowledge and expertise to provide advice on best practice standards, quality assurance frameworks, remediation processes and CQC enforcement.
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience and knowledge of CQC’s inspection regimes.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly in response to changing needs.
  • Resilient and able to remain calm under pressure, whilst balancing conflicting demands.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor your style to different audiences.
