
Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant

- Maintain accurate financial records for a range of clients
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with management accounts
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and gather information
- Support senior accountants with year-end accounts preparation
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and VAT
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- AAT qualified or working towards (desirable)
- Strong communication skills
