Sales Administrator – £28,000Location: Ripon, HG4Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00)Join a Leading Engineering & Manufacturing TeamWe’re seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our commercial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a dynamic, production-driven environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive and professional support to the sales and production teams
  • Accurately process customer orders and ensure data integrity across systems
  • Handle technical product inquiries and offer clear, informed guidance
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain detailed records of customer communications and transactions
  • Assist in generating sales reports and preparing client-facing presentations
  • Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Support account managers in maintaining strong client relationships
  • Uphold high standards across both office and yard operations
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role within a manufacturing or engineering setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving mindset with a calm, professional approach under pressure
