An exciting opportunity has come available to join the Occupational Therapy team at the Trevor Gibbens Unit at Maidstone within the Forensic directorate.The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).Main duties of the jobWe are looking for an Occupational therapist with experience, skills and an interest in working with service users;o To assist in identifying, developing and providing the Occupational Therapy contribution within the multi-disciplinary service in accordance with the needs of service users and the requirements of the service.o To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate therapeutic interventions for identified service users.o To manage a defined caseload of service users with occupational needs using evidence based, service user centred, hope and recovery, health promotion and relapse prevention orientated principles and practiceAbout usCome and work with us in the Garden of England where we combine exceptional professional development opportunities with a tremendous quality of life.We are Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT), providing mental health, learning disability and specialist services, serving 1.8 million people in Kent and Medway, as well as specialist services for adults in Sussex and Surrey.
