- Performing analysis and modeling of algorithms, mathematical models, and behavior definitions.
- Transforming models and equations into synthesized RTL implementations.
- Adapting and improving behavior, functional, and logic specifications into robust RTL designs.
- Contributing constructively to architecture definition and design.
- Integrating components, IP, and subsystems effectively.
- Conducting IP analysis and selection to ensure optimal performance.
- Defining, designing, and implementing simulation and test environments.
- Driving simulations for component and subsystem tests.
- Participating in, conducting, and leading design reviews.
- Engaging in functional validation using FPGA prototypes and post-silicon validation for ASICs.
- Collaborating with Photonics and Holographic Research Teams to enhance product development.
- Interacting with the Electronics Design Team to ensure seamless integration.
- Mentoring junior team members to foster growth and development.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- 6-8 years of RTL design and implementation experience with a strong focus on algorithm analysis and modeling.
- Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design.
- Strong mathematical skills and experience in computer arithmetic.

- Familiarity with standard interconnect structures and interfaces and multi-clock domain designs.
- Highly developed debugging skills and experience with RTL simulation tools (Modelsim/Questa).
- Experience in interfacing with external chips and devices.
- Proficiency in scripting/modeling languages such as Matlab and/or Python.
- Excellent communication skills to convey abstract concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of VHDL and experience in video/image processing.
- Basic understanding of electronics design and practical exposure to analog electronics (using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, and assembler (ARM).
- Experience with frontend ASIC design and versioning systems.
- Knowledge of Tcl/Tk, Simulink, and DSP-builder.
- Experience with video interfaces like HDMI or embedded DisplayPort (eDP) and serial protocols/interfaces.
