Creffield Medical Centre in Colchester are looking to welcome a motivated clinical coder to their team on a part-time basis for approximately 30 hours per week, working across a minimum of 4 days.Main duties of the job
  • Review all incoming correspondence filing the document and entering pertinent information.
  • Carry out required actions via the patients electronical medical record in accordance with the coding workflow protocol - with attention to QOF and ECF.
  • Highlight clinician action and workflow to appropriate clinician or team as per workflow protocol.
  • Organise the medical record of the patient whom you are coding, to link problem titles.
  • Recognise own knowledge limits and seek advice from clinical or administrative colleagues as appropriate.
  • Carry out administrative related tasks as delegated by clinical lead and practice manager.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as allocated by the practice manager or partners.
