- Dealing with all aspects of transaction preparation, structuring, modelling/pricing, due diligence, documentation and management of legal and accounting issues
- Assisting senior team members with origination of new business, including identification of target opportunities
- Preparation of presentations for clients, investors, and the broader investment community, being responsible for responding to client specific requests
- Involvement in all aspects of transaction preparation, structuring, due diligence, documentation, and legal and accounting issues, liaising with infrastructure teams such as legal, compliance and risk management
- Frequent interaction with areas of Deutsche Bank including ECM Syndicate, Strategic Equity Transaction Group (SETG), and Investment Banking Coverage in the origination of new business
- Communicating with clients, advisers and senior investment bankers, including participation in client meetings and events. Assisting with local product/ sector projects, initiatives, and responsibilities, and work towards revenue requirements determined by the business
- Convertible bond deal experience in the broader Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region
- Good understanding of financial markets and a background in Equity Capital Markets and derivatives
- Experience of financial analysis, modelling and valuations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in multiple languages would be an asset, particularly European languages
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/ relevant work experience
