Are you skilled and experienced in Healthcare or Health Care Assistant?Would you like to pass your knowledge onto the next generation?Would you like support in completing an Assessors qualification and starting a new career as an Assessor in Further Education?If yes, this could be the opportunity for you!What are we looking for?In the role of Assessor, you will be predominantly based at our STEM Campus however this is a multi-site role and travel between sites is expected.Do you have high expectations and standards of yourself and others? If so, read on this could be the role for you!We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Assessor in Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement.The role will involve liaising with apprentices and their employers to ensure they each fully understand what the learner needs to complete the apprentice standard. You will carry out the assessment of practical activities in the workplace alongside completing developmental knowledge sessions and guide the learner by setting targets to aid completion.The successful candidate must:
  • Be qualified to Level 3 (NVQ) in Health Care
  • Hold Assessors award or IQA award
  • Have relevant recent experience of working within apprenticeships
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of NVQ’s in Healthcare
  • Have the use of a car and a valid UK driving license
