- Design and structure our Warehouse Management software within the architecture team.
- Recommend tools, technologies, and processes for scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, SMEs, and customers to define software requirements.
- Align architectural design backlog with product backlog for development teams.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
- Use industry-recognized tools and techniques to document and share designs with development teams.
- Define key non-functional requirements, including technology, security, scalability, and performance.
- Monitor development progress to ensure consistency with initial design.
- Collaborate with colleagues and third parties for integration with other systems.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to software engineers and junior architects.
- Keep abreast of the latest technological advancements with a view to improving our products and processes in line with Company objectives.
- Proven experience as a software architect.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Expertise in modern software development, particularly UI/UX Design, C#, .Net Core, Entity Framework Core, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Domain Driven Design, microservices architecture, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres).
- Experience with web APIs (RESTful, SOAP), infrastructure (RedHat, Azure), and containerized applications (Docker).
- Familiarity with message broker technologies (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
- Experience in supply chain/warehouse logistics systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps culture, CI/CD techniques, and front-end development with Blazor.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
- 2:1 BSc Honors Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Engagement in extracurricular developer activities like open-source projects or personal projects.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies to strive for continual improvement.
