- Be the first point of contact and lead all employee relations casework including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, investigations, absence management, and performance improvement plans
- Provide professional, legally sound advice to line managers and key stakeholders on all HR issues and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies
- Conduct regular HR reviews to identify risks, trends, and opportunities to prevent costly litigation and improve practices
- Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, Right to Work legislation, and company policies
- Work collaboratively with Trade Union representatives to ensure effective industrial relations and support positive outcomes
- CIPD Level 5 is desirable
- Relevant degree or degree-level education is desirable
- Previous HR advisory experience, including first-hand involvement in solving complex employment law problems
- Dealing with Trade Union negotiation is desirable
- Previous experience of working within the Transport and Logistics Industry would be desirable
