
Aseptic Pharmacy Technician

- Co-ordination of day to day activities.
- Preparation of aseptically prepared products.
- Environmental monitoring.
- Dispensing of outsourced parenteral products.
- Undertaking pre-process checking of assembled trays.
- In-process checking during preparation.
- Accuracy checking of dispensed Ready to Administer (RtA) products.
- Generating worksheets for aseptically prepared products.

- BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences / QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- QCF Level 4 or above in a qualification relevant to the post
- At least one year, post-qualification experience.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Audit of practice and/or of the impact of a change in the way the service is delivered
- Problem solving
- Participated in the implementation of changes in service, products and/or systems
- Able to use own judgement to prioritise staff
- Able to use a range of computer programmes relevant to the post
- Experience in objectives setting for a team
- Flexible to changing work routines and demands
- Ability to work as part of a team and develop team working within the section
- Ability to demonstrate motivation for applying for a post in this organisation
