- Provide clear, values-led leadership to the ISVA and advocacy team.
- Lead operational delivery, ensuring service outcomes and contractual targets are met.
- Drive service improvement through reflective practice, consultation, and lived experience input.
- Manage budgets effectively and identify funding opportunities to sustain and grow services.
- Oversee commissioned advocacy workstreams, including monitoring impact, risk management, and reporting to funders/commissioners.
- Line manage the Advocacy Team Leader, ensuring robust supervision, development, and safeguarding practice.
- Establish effective data and reporting systems to evidence outcomes and inform service learning.
- Represent the service in pan-London forums and at national level, influencing policy and best practice.
- Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders and professionals across safeguarding, justice, and health systems.
- Promote co-production with people with lived experience in service development.
- Significant experience in advocacy, ISVA services, safeguarding, or survivor services within complex or high-risk settings.
- Proven leadership experience in a multidisciplinary or frontline setting.
- Experience of managing commissioned services, public contracts, or grant-funded projects.
- Strong safeguarding expertise, including decision-making around high-risk cases.
- Ability to analyse data for impact, reporting, and service improvement.
- Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
- Knowledge of ISVA national minimum standards, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding law.
- Understanding of barriers to justice faced by autistic people and people with learning disabilities.
