We are heavily recruiting in the Tyrone and Fermanagh area at present - our hourly pay rate is very competitive with hourly rates between £12.21 - £30.50 per hour depending on shiftJob SummaryAs a Health Care Assistant, you will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to support patients in their daily needs, ensuring they receive safe, dignified, and person-centred care.Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assisting patients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
  • Supporting individuals with mobility and helping them move safely around the facility
  • Monitoring and recording patients' conditions, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration
  • Helping patients with day-to-day tasks and encouraging independence
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare staff
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Ensuring that patient rooms and care areas are clean, tidy, and safe
  • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of meals and drinks
  • Following infection prevention protocols and safeguarding policies
  • Updating patient records accurately and timely under supervision
  • Supporting nurses with clinical tasks as trained and delegated
Requirements
  • Previous paid experience in a care setting (6 months min) in the last 5 years
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (preferred)
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Right to work in the UK (or applicable region)
  • NISCC Registration
