Senior Business Development ManagerCentral London – Hybrid – 2 days onsiteSalary: £50k+ DOE Uncapped CommissionAbout the RoleA global leader in digital media and events for the technology industry is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their London team. This is a high-impact role for a sales professional with a strong track record in event sponsorship and digital product sales.Role OverviewYou will be responsible for driving revenue growth across a portfolio that includes digital media, industry journals, and both in-person and virtual events. The position combines strategic relationship management with proactive new business generation in international markets.Key Responsibilities
  • Sell tailored sponsorship packages to a range of influential global clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers worldwide
  • Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, and market research
  • Working closely with in-house teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and client meetings internationally
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ B2B event sponsorship and/or digital advertising sales experience (transport or technology preferred but not essential)
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a proven record of meeting revenue goals
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and closing abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or within a team
  • Willingness to travel internationally
