Job descriptionComplex Needs TA – Oldham:Prospero Teaching are looking for caring and compassionate teaching assistants to join a large SEN provision, supporting children with complex needs. Although experience supporting SEN in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters to nurture the individuals.Role Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • Regularly communicating with teaching staff and senior leadership team to monitor progress and development of the pupils
  • Helping to create a welcoming and nurturing learning environment
Position Details:
  • Location: Oldham

  • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Sept 2025
  • End date: Long-Term, Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
  • Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs in a school or care setting
  • Team Teach training is highly desirable
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
