Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a specialist secondary school in Gorton supporting pupils aged 11 – 18 with complex needs, including autism, medical conditions, and learning disabilities. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be part of a skilled and compassionate team that makes school a safe, structured and inspiring place for every learner.Your Day-to-Day
Provide 1:1 and group support across a range of subjects and settingsHelp pupils with personal care, sensory regulation and communication needsUse visual aids, routines and consistent boundaries to support learningWork closely with teachers, therapists and families to meet EHCP targetsCelebrate progress, however small, with patience and positivityWho Were Looking For
Experience or interest in SEND education or care workResilient, empathetic and confident in a dynamic environmentTeam player with strong communication skillsLevel 2/3 TA qualification or psychology/education background beneficial
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
