English Teacher | SeftonExciting opportunities for talented English Teachers to join a group of welcoming and supportive school communities in Sefton. This position involves teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for A-Level teaching for the right candidate.Our schools are covered by a combination of L and PR postcodes. This includes South Sefton and the coastal towns of Bootle and Crosby (L20-L23), Central Sefton areas like Maghull (L30-L31), North Sefton and the town of Formby (L37-L38), and the main postcodes for Southport (PR8-PR9)..We offer a competitive daily rate of £150 - £220 per day, depending on experience.Why Choose Us:

Core Responsibilities:
  • High-Quality Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for secondary school students.
  • Raising Attainment: Implement strategies to improve student outcomes and foster a deep appreciation for the subject.
  • Pastoral Care: Provide guidance and support to students, promoting their well-being and personal development.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Extra-Curricular Involvement: Participate in or lead extra-curricular activities, such as debating clubs or school plays, to enrich student's learning.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
  • A relevant degree is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for English.
  • The ability to build strong rapport with students and motivate them to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
