If so, this could be the perfect role for you.Supply Desk is seeking a SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist school in the Slough area. The school is well regarded for its inclusive approach and dedication to supporting children with a range of needs through creative, engaging, and tailored learning experiences that promote every child’s success.About the Role:
  • Teach a small class of approximately 8 pupils with additional learning and physical needs
  • Deliver a tailored curriculum including Maths, English, Phonics, as well as social and life skills
  • Support each child in working towards their personalised academic and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) goals
  • Full-time role with the potential for a permanent contract
  • Job share considered (3–4 days per week)
The ideal candidate will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Proven experience working with children with SEND (required)
  • Solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Skilled in effective behaviour management and maintaining a positive classroom environment
  • Resilient, empathetic, and highly motivated
  • Experience delivering targeted interventions is an advantage
