- Ensure the timely submission of all payment applications, capturing all contractual entitlements.
- Monitor and secure payments in line with contractual payment terms.
- Submit tender and estimate details to the client promptly and accurately.
- Compile and negotiate final accounts without delay, ensuring all entitlements are clearly presented.
- Provide weekly updates on cost vs. value, delivery schedules, and relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and present monthly cost/value reconciliations and forecast final account positions.
- Develop and present future work schedules and projected cash flow plans.
- Manage the procurement and placement of sub-contract orders through negotiation.
- Oversee the financial and contractual performance of subcontractors, including the agreement of their final accounts.
- Ensure all contractual notices, correspondence, and documentation are issued in compliance with the contract.
- Produce detailed documentation to support claims, variations, and additional payments.
- Provide commercial support to project teams, including site and contract management personnel.
- Offer commercial input to both the estimating and procurement departments.
- Support and mentor junior quantity surveyors and trainees as required.
- Maintain close collaboration with the client on all commercial and contractual matters, including the provision of backup documentation.
