Main responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital to ensure strong liquidity.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT, tax, and regulatory filings.
  • Implement and continuously improve financial policies, systems, and controls.
  • Collaborate with event, sales, and marketing teams to provide financial visibility on budgets, costs, and margins.
  • Support commercial decision-making with scenario analysis, pricing models, and ROI tracking for events.
  • Deliver timely and accurate management reporting and insights for leadership and investors.
  • Lead the evolution of finance systems to scale with the business and streamline invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Develop reporting dashboards to enable real-time financial oversight.
  • Manage and develop finance team members and support team growth as the company scales.
  • Contribute to the long-term financial strategy of the company and support fundraising and investor reporting requirements.

  • Experience in the events, media, or hospitality industry (preferred but not essential).
