UK Commercial Director - Sell My Car

- As a key member of the Sell My Car leadership team you'll help to build the business strategy, influencing the direction and approach and aligning business and customer needs with those of our partners
- Responsible for developing, planning and implementing our commercial and sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and share of wallet growth: acquisition strategies, partner lifecycle management, team resource deployment, pricing and incentives strategy, GTM for new propositions
- Provide visionary leadership to all of our SMC teams responsible for acquiring and growing dealer and buyer partnerships, defining their success metrics and criterial Lead senior level client engagements for example, stepping in to support acquisition efforts, partnership reviews, or churn risk meetings with key partners
- Lead, coaching and managing a diverse, multi-layered team of sales-people and account managers
- Foster a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales department. This includes teaching best-practice sales practices, coaching, and mentoring the team directly and indirectly through direct reports
- Steer our B2B marketing plans to drive awareness and inbound leads
- Drive the shape our B2B proposition, fostering continuous improvement to our offering, and ensuring we work towards our goals of establishing ourselves as a preferred sourcing channel for our partners
- Partner with internal stakeholders to achieve your goals: B2B marketing to drive inbound leads, Product/Design and Operations to share our offering, Revenue operations to improve sales processes and quality, Get Your Car commercial teams to open partner relationships across products
- Regularly attending and participating at industry events, including giving presentations and participating in panel discussions

- Articulate communicator able to operate at every level of a fast moving tech company
- Proven experience of successfully developing and implementing commercial strategies
- Ability to create and nurture director-level and CSuite commercial relationships, preferably within the automotive or similar industry
- Track record of constant team efficiency improvements
- Clear development of winning strategies and successful execution
- Extensive leadership experience. Ability to motivate, nurture and develop your teams
- Ability to partner, collaboratively and influence internal stakeholders
- Developing cross-functional relationships is essential to success
