You’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality fuel operations—supporting vessels that power global trade.This is a hands-on, fast-paced role within a tight-knit team of 11 Operators, working on a 24/7 shift pattern. - Oversee the safe receipt, transfer, and discharge of marine fuel products.
- Operate storage tanks and blending systems to meet precise fuel specifications.
- Conduct tank gauging and stock-taking for vessel movements and month-end reporting.
- Maintain accurate digital records of product movements and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor product temperature and ensure compliance with HSSEQ standards.
- Support terminal housekeeping and contribute to a clean, safe working environment.
- Participate in ongoing training, including first aid and fire warden responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic numeracy (e.g., calculating blend percentages).
- Willingness to work flexible hours within a rotating shift pattern.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and commitment to safe practices.
- Comfortable working at heights (up to 16 meters).
- A reliable team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
- Access to personal transport.
- Experience in ship-to-shore operations (COG – Chemical, Oil & Gas).
- Basic engineering knowledge.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) license.
- Certified First Aider and/or Fire Warden.
