Driver: RequireSummaryThis is a live-out, part-time Housekeeper Nanny role for a professional family in Ottershaw, Surrey. The focus is on housekeeping within a large, 5-bedroom detached home with 4 bathrooms, set in grounds of about 1 acre. Light support with the children is required in the afternoons, alongside errands and household organisation. A confident driver with own car is essential.Key Responsibilities
- General housekeeping tasks and duties: tidying away, checking stocks and restocking, dealing with storage, laundry (ironing not required), emptying and restacking the dishwasher, washing up, taking bins out, defrosting freezers, occasional cooking, wrapping presents, unpacking deliveries, putting groceries away, clearing out cupboards, recycling and taking large items to the local dump, polishing silver (not essential), watering the garden, daily light cleaning particularly of the kitchen, deep cleaning as directed, making and changing beds, very occasional liaison with other service providers.
- Accepting deliveries and running errands, for example post office and occasional supermarket runs.
- Light babysitting and transporting the children as needed, full nanny duties are not required.
- For around 1 to 2 hours in the afternoon, letting the toddler accompany you while doing chores, providing a snack, reading a book, walking in the garden, and sometimes driving her to a parent who is away from the house.
- Proven experience in private households with confidence across all aspects of housekeeping.
- Dependable, proactive, kind, organised and with a good eye for detail.
- Proficient in English.
- Child friendly and comfortable engaging with a toddler while working.
- Confident driver with own car.
- Able to work Monday to Friday, 1.00pm to 7.00pm, or core hours 4 to 3pm to 7pm.
- Comfortable running local errands and transporting children when required.
- Capable of maintaining standards in a large family home and grounds.
