Role type: Full time, Fixed Term (until 31/03/2027)Closing date: 8 September 2025 at 23:59Are you a talented social media video producer with a passion for storytelling, culture and heritage? We're looking for a Digital Content Producer to translate the viral social presence of The Museum of English Rural Life (The MERL) into short-form video, and to bring the rich history and iconic treasures of Reading Museum to life.Working across both museums under the Arts Council-funded partnership, Museums Partnership Reading (MPR), you'll lead on the development of our TikTok and Instagram content and play a key role within the partnership's digital engagement.You will have:
  • An imaginative and thoughtful approach to identifying themes for content creation
  • Strong knowledge of using video and audio equipment to create high-quality content
  • Experience of producing social video with strong engagement
  • Strong understanding of internet culture, with a demonstrable track record of creating engaging, impactful and appropriate video content that lands with its audience
  • The ability to measure social media performance, produce reports for stakeholders, and use data to inform strategy
