Our diverse product range are enabled by the development and application of innovative technologies and engineering solutions.Job Outline:We are seeking a high calibre candidate who is highly motivated, creative and versatile. The Contracts Officer will be part of our Legal team within our global technology company. The successful candidate will provide a contractual and legally compliant service to all areas of our business. This role will also support the Legal Manager as required to provide a wider service to the Company.Main DutiesDraft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contractsEstablish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual mattersManage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentationProvide both internal and external contract-related issue resolutionMonitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriateCommunicate contract-related information to all stakeholdersProvide management information for monthly reportsMonitoring changes or developments within the industry and evaluating customer needs#QioptiqPersonal Specification:At least 4 years of experience as a commercial contracts adviser/managerDegree in law, business, economics or relevant subject / similar level of educationProven commercial contracts experienceKnowledge of Contract Terms & Conditions (including Customer/Supplier LTSA, Framework, Licences, Loan Agreements, NDA’s, Representative and Distributor agreements), in accordance with company policiesKnowledge of Contract RiskExcellent IT skills including MS OfficeExperience in the aviation or defence sector (desirable)Knowledge of DEFCONS and FARS/DFARS (desirable)Experience working with UK government agencies (desirable)Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
