Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Group Product Owner – BEV Program to be based at our customers site in Gaydon.Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast-growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.The Role:We are seeking an accomplished and strategically minded Group Product Owner to lead application delivery planning across multiple global vehicle architectures and regions. This senior-level role, based at our customer location in the UK, will be instrumental in driving cross-functional alignment, ensuring timely feature delivery, and managing the integration of hardware and software across complex programme landscapes. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in product ownership, programme delivery, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record of operating at scale across international markets.Key Responsibilities:· Lead and coordinate application delivery planning across MLA (Modular Longitudinal Architecture) and EMA (Electric Modular Architecture)· Collaborate with programme leadership to align on feature delivery status, ensuring visibility, traceability, and accountability across all phases of development.· Maintain and refine product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business priorities, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.· Partner with unit programme teams to coordinate hardware delivery schedules and assess software impact, ensuring seamless integration and system readiness.· Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts across hardware-software interfaces.· Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, software development, programme management, and senior leadership.· Facilitate governance forums, agile ceremonies, and cross-functional workshops to drive decision-making and execution.· Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to executive stakeholders on delivery progress, risks, and mitigation plans.Required Skills & Experience:· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics & related Engineering stream, Product Management, or a related discipline.· Proven experience in a senior Product Owner or Product Management role.· Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-region product delivery programmes—preferably within the automotive, mobility, or embedded systems sectors.· Strong understanding of vehicle architecture, software development lifecycle, and hardware-software integration.· Expertise in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.· Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisationIn return for bringing your expertise to our business we offer a competitive salary along with excellent benefits including:· Pension Scheme – We match employee contribution up to 5% of salary· 25 Days’ Holiday· Private Health Care· Tata Jaguar Land Rover Privilege Scheme - up to 20% off new JLR vehicles· Group Income Protection· Health Assured – Employee Assistance Program· Group Life Assurance· Health Shield – Private Health Cash PlanIf you are passionate about bringing innovation to the projects you work on and want to join a global company, then this is the place for you.Tata Technologies: Engineering a better world.Tata Technologies would like to thank all applicants for their interest, each application will be reviewed against the set criteria for the role.
