- Set, review, and track performance against objectives that drive teammate growth and development, using coaching techniques to ensure teammates are demonstrating the required values and behaviors.
- Lead motivational and engaging management meetings regularly to keep the team motivated, focused, and energized on initiatives that will drive sales growth and align with the divisional sales strategy.
- Manage and maintain relationships with teammates, key clients, and vendors to ensure the highest level of service delivery to enhance and drive opportunities.
- Serve as the primary escalation point, ensuring prompt resolution of any client issues with the highest level of service.
- Drive forecast accuracy through regular pipeline management with the team, ensuring team compliance with the Insight sales methodology.
- Build and submit the Latest Estimate Report by collating information and reports to build the projected sales forecast.
- Ensure the generation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual account business plans to deliver future revenue/GP targets for the assigned sales team.
- Proficient in essential finance metrics, leveraging knowledge of terms like CapEx, OpEx, EBITDA, and SG&A to inform commercial decisions and craft persuasive business cases.
- Utilize internal CRM systems to produce timely and accurate forecast and pipeline data.
- Ensure all sales opportunities are executed in accordance with our sales methodology, proactively undertaking relevant training and coaching when knowledge gaps are identified.
- Proactively engage with the deal governance process, taking on board feedback as required to refine sales opportunities.
- A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator with extensive client facing sales experience.
- Demonstrable experience of managing and motivating a high performing team within a fast-paced, target driven environment.
- Understanding of and ability to utilise Sales Methodology, from defining client needs to delivering outcomes.
- Demonstrates previous IT sales experience including high achievement of sales in a high-pressured sales environment.
- Ability to engage and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders, often at c-level with credibility and confidence.
- Ability to interpret and analyse business and technical reports in addition to writing and presenting information to teammates, managers, and clients.
