- Proven experience in the EV sector, with a strong understanding of the market dynamics and consumer behaviour, as well as SME environments
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the EV charging infrastructure landscape, real estate market dynamics, and regulatory requirements within the UK.
- Measurable experience in an acquisitions and bidding environment in the real estate and EV charging sectors
- Familiarity with Acquisition Software and CRM Tools: Proficient with site review and acquisition tools, mapping software, and CRM systems for efficient deal tracking and management.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive deal-making discussions and document HoTs clearly for handover.
- Acquisitions Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in site acquisitions within the EV charging, commercial real estate, or renewable energy sectors.
- Proven Track Record in Closing Deals: Demonstrated success in closing complex deals from initial approach through to Heads of Terms and completed lease, with a strong focus on speed and efficiency.
- Relationship and Partnership Building: Ability to cultivate lasting partnerships and leverage networks within the private sector to drive acquisition opportunities and revenue growth.
- Financial and Commercial Negotiation Skills: Proven expertise in structuring and negotiating high-value, commercially favourable agreements that support long-term growth.

- Lead proactive identification and engagement of private sector sites for EV charger installations, focusing on high-potential leasehold enroute and destination locations.
- Develop and implement strategies for rapid conversion from initial contact to signed Heads of Terms, handing over to transaction and project teams and completing legals.
- Evaluate site viability through market analysis, grid capacity, and visibility to ensure optimal selection and successful delivery.
- Manage negotiations with site owners and agents, including portfolio deals, to swiftly secure Heads of Terms and grow the acquisition pipeline.
- Structure commercially advantageous agreements that support Believ’s growth and long-term partnerships.
- Ensure deals are commercially sound, legally safe, and aligned with internal processes. Monitor performance metrics and report on pipeline progress to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with the Private Sector Director to define regional priorities and strategies for key clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support ongoing and future site acquisitions.
- Align with internal teams on performance targets, TPI strategy, and sector-specific marketing efforts.
- Promote ethical practices and uphold Believ’s reputation through effective stakeholder engagement.
