- Supervising kinship carers, offering ongoing support and professional guidance.
- Completing thorough and timely Connected Persons Assessments to determine the suitability of family and friends carers.
- Undertaking Regulation 24 assessments for private fostering arrangements.
- Conducting Foster Carer reviews for kinship foster carers.
- Actively participating in and contributing to the development of our support services for kinship families.
- A qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Experience in children's social care, ideally with some knowledge of kinship care or fostering.
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance, including the Children Act 1989.
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- The ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
