Addepar embraces a global flexible workforce model with offices in New York City, Salt Lake City, Chicago, London, Edinburgh, Pune, and Dubai.The RoleWe are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Partner Platform!Addepar provides asset owners and advisors a clearer financial picture at every level, allowing them to make more informed and timely investment decisions.As the lead product contributor on the team focusing on our partner platform, you will be responsible for envisioning and implementing the future of our partner ecosystem. You will work closely with external partners, data providers, internal team members and various engineering teams to expand Addepar's capabilities and coverage to meet client and partner needs. You will work closely with leaders across the company to build distinguished data solutions and services that serve partners who enable our clients with their implementation, ongoing operation of Addepar, and the integration of all systems within their technology ecosystem.What You'll Do
  • Analyze partner offerings across the financial technology ecosystem to inform our investment decisions
  • Partner with engineering, product management, product design, data operations and various client service teams to deliver high quality, timely and reliable data solutions that will power both our internal teams and external partners
  • Use your understanding of our existing data models to write technical requirements on how to transform raw data into functional content on our platform
  • Use your understanding of desired experiences to design workflows and experiences necessary to power our partners
  • Investigate issues raised by clients or partner teams to refine and implement fixes with our development team
  • Understand Addepar's products and clients. Using these insights, work with counterparts within the business to drive new and innovative opportunities to improve the partner experience
  • Contribute to the evolution of Addepar's financial solutions to better serve our clients and cement Addepar's role as the best-in-class integrator of market traded and alternative asset investments
  • Prioritize and context-switch effectively to complete simultaneous projects, seeing each through to the finish line
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve our current processes and tools to better streamline, scale, and automate workflows
  • Effectively set, lead, and communicate expectations both internally and externally
Example Projects
  • Historical Data Conversion: Currently the company's #1 priority-migrating large, complex datasets from competitor platforms and internal systems into Addepar with accuracy, scale, and performance
  • Firm Administration Product: Enable clients and internal teams to manage settings across multiple firms
  • Implementation Wizard: Create a new wizard enabled experience that converts our bespoke implementation experience into a guided set of workflow
Who You Are
  • Significant data product management experience with relevant finance domain-specific experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate working with vendors, clients and internal collaborators. Be able to communicate domain knowledge well both verbally and in writing for internal development teams, sales teams as well for clients and other external data partners
  • Ability to work cross functionally to define functional and technical implementations to craft effective solutions to a business problem. This includes understanding of high level data development concepts, data modeling, and the ability to write and review technical requirements documents
  • Experience working with financial data and concepts relevant to Addepar's clients and products
