- Previous warehouse management experience
- Proven record of team management
- Proven record of dealing with customers on a day to day basis
- Experience in the FMCG sector - preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- You will have excellent communication skills, spoken and written
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A methodical and structured approach to problem solving
- An approachable attitude and a flexible approach to work
- Strong PC Literacy including Word & Excel in a business capacity
- Knowledge of driver’s hours is beneficial but not essential
- Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
- Client facing if and when required on daily calls and throughout the day
- Alignment on production and delivery schedules inbound and outbound for core activity
- Direct management of the shift managers to ensure sufficient resource and focus is applied
- Agile management to plan ahead to be able to react to production and schedule changes being driven by the client and transport teams
- Ongoing team development
- Best practice alignment of processes
