SHEQ Systems Manager | Chemical Manufacturing | Basingstoke | £60-65K + packageAre you an experienced SHEQ professional passionate about ISO systems and continuous improvement? A rapidly expanding chemical manufacturer is seeking a SHEQ Systems Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimisation of its Integrated Management System across three UK-based manufacturing sites.You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Health & Safety), and ISO 50001 (Energy), driving full lifecycle certification across operations. This is a strategic and hands-on position with strong cross-functional influence, embedded in a culture that values quality, innovation, and compliance.Key responsibilities
  • Lead the company’s ISO-certified management system, overseeing internal/external audits and continual improvement.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation, including SOPs, quality manuals, and KPIs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage non-conformances through root cause analysis and preventive action.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Deliver training on ISO standards and mentor internal audit teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Production, and Sales to integrate SHEQ best practices into operations.
About you
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment managing ISO 9001 systems.
  • Familiar with ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001 frameworks.
  • Qualified internal or lead auditor (ISO 9001 or similar).
  • Skilled in managing documentation and audit processes.
  • Effective communicator and coach, able to influence at all levels.
