- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday on a Fixed Term Contract up to 12 Months
- 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. After 2 complete years’ continuous service with the Company you will be entitled to one extra day of holiday for every complete year of service thereafter, to a maximum of 25 days.

- Support the Health and Safety Manager in implementing and updating the organisation’s health and safety management system.
- Conduct and review risk assessments, safe systems of work, and method statements in collaboration with operational teams.
- Monitor workplace conditions through regular site inspections and audits; track and follow up on any required actions.
- Participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of internal H&S training sessions, inductions, and toolbox talks.
- Advise and guide staff on H&S queries in accordance with legislation and company policy.
- Support H&S reporting through the collation of data and preparation of regular reports and dashboards for management review.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the health and safety culture across the organisation.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a health and safety role, preferably within a high-risk or multi-site environment.
- Solid understanding of UK health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and workplace inspections.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of using H&S management software/systems.
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory visits.
- Full Manual Driving Licence
- Frequent travel to operational sites which will require overnight stay
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (essential).
- Additional health and safety certifications (e.g., Fire Safety, Manual Handling, First Aid, IOSH Managing Safely) are desirable.
- Tech IOSH status or working towards (preferred).
