Working closely with production colleagues you will ensure that equipment is properly set and maintained; monitoring performance and carrying out fault diagnosis and running adjustments/repairs as necessary in a fast paced fresh milk production environment.Your job will include:
  • Developing and implementing continuous process improvement projects
  • Routine preventative maintenance
  • Overhauling mechanical plant and machinery
  • General building fabric repairs
  • Maintaining and monitoring consumption of M&E utilities
  • Providing support for the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Candidates should have significant, recent and relevant experience to the role, ideally at least 3 years post apprenticeship.
  • Candidates should have undertaken an engineering apprenticeship/training programme with an electrically biased qualification and be mechanically proficient.
These posts offer an attractive salary package with excellent opportunities for personal development with a leading blue chip food company.Hours of Work: 41.5hr per week on 8-week rota cycle, working 6 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights split out over the cycle (normally 4 x 12hr days in row with exception of one week at 5 days that includes a 9hr Saturday).
