
Assembly Technician

- Assembly and Installation: Assemble components of automated storage systems including mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts. Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and integration of parts.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks and testing on assembled systems to ensure functionality, performance, and adherence to design specifications.
- Technical Documentation: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions. Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve assembly issues, malfunctions, and defects. Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to address complex problems.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on assembly tools and equipment. Ensure a clean and organised work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices at all times.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements. Participate in training and development activities to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, preferably in automated systems or industrial machinery.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Basic understanding of electrical wiring and circuitry.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
