- Spirometry using a range of spirometers
- Measurement of dynamic lung volumes by flow volume loops
- Measurement of transfer factor by single breath method
- Measurement of static lung volumes by helium dilution, nitrogen washout and body plethysmography
- Assessment of bronchodilator response
- Inhaler education
- Field exercise testing, using 6 minute walk
- FeNO testing
- Polygraphy sleep studies
- CPAP initiation
- CPAP patient support

- Central Middlesex Hospital: our planned care site, hosting a range of surgical and outpatient services and collocated with an urgent care centre.
- Degree in Respiratory Physiology or equivalent subject.
- Evidence of relevant CPD
- Experience of customer or patient care
- Experience of performing spirometry
- Experience of working in the NHS
- Experience of full lung function testing
- Experience of sleep testing
- Knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology and pathology.
- Evidence or awareness of excellent patient care.
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to communicate effectively in an emotional or hostile situation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy.
- Flexible and enthusiastic.
- Good time management.
- Knowledge of sleep disorders.
