OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of a well established security provider who design, supply, install, support and maintain electronic security solutions.Established over 25 years, they supply a range of products including Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Integration. The majority of their client base is within the commercial and government sectors.The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of installation projects across Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm, and associated systems. In addition to managing their own portfolio of projects, the Senior Project Manager will oversee and support a Project Manager, providing leadership, technical guidance, and coordination to ensure projects meet company standards of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.This role encompasses project planning, technical oversight, team leadership, and client-facing responsibilities. A significant portion of your time will be spent on-site, maintaining visibility across key projects and supporting both engineering teams and the Project Manager under your supervision.This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (very flexible), paying £45k – £55k per annum depending on experience. Their office is based in Hertford however they would ideally like someone located within the M25 and surrounding counties as the projects are predominantly within London. Senior Projects Manager of Installations for Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and other associated Systems.
Attend and contribute to regular internal meetings (e.g. team catch-ups, coordination calls, weekly planning meetings).
Full lifecycle management of installation projects (initiation to handover).
Planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Budget management and progress tracking.
On-site project leadership and quality assurance.
Attending Site Meetings.
Identification and agreement of variations or additional works, alongside the commercial team.
Set clear goals, monitor performance, and conduct regular 1:1's and team reviews.
Identify skills gaps and ensure appropriate training and professional development.
Ownership of KPIs, reporting on project delivery performance.
Collaborating with other department managers to align project delivery processes with company standards.
Acting as a senior point of contact for key client relationships.
Ensure yourself and your team's full compliance with the Company's Health & Safety Policy.
Ensure projects are delivered to the latest British Standards, NSI requirements, and legislative frameworks.
Skills & Attributes
Previous experience working within the security industry.
Good knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and other associated Systems.
Ability to motivate and lead teams.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good level of IT skills to include, Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook.
Valid UK driving license
