- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Plan and implement a rich curriculum that caters to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
- Participate in school events, parent evenings, and ongoing professional development.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and contribute to students’ holistic growth.
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding and school policies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English literature and language.
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (Early Careers Teachers are warmly encouraged to apply).
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.

- An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
