- Install and commission packaging machinery, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults on packaging equipment, often under time pressure.
- Provide technical advice and training to customers on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate service records, including reports of work performed, parts used, and customer feedback.
- Regular travel to customer sites across NI and Ireland.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the face of the company in the field.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a field service engineering role, preferably in food packaging or food processing.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems.
- Relevant qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
- Full, clean driving licence.
