A leading established Fashion Supplier is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead, manage and direct the Supply Chain Management function.The Role:
  • Management and delivery of agreed Supply Chain KPI’s and process compliance whilst driving process improvement to best practice.
  • Manage the complaints process to a satisfactory conclusion using the defined process linking in with appropriate functions.
  • Management of direct reports within the extended team both in a day-day context and also from an employee development viewpoint.
  • Contribute to the team in the process of developing a demand plan which flows into the planning process, aligning procurement, raw material call-off and manufacturing activities to resource allocation while meeting customers' expectations.
  • End to end Inventory management and stock control.
  • Ensure all costs are controlled adequately and in line with budget identifying opportunities to reduce cost.
  • Preparation of monthly/weekly reporting pack with relevant metrics and KPIs.
  • Review plan changes with the management team.
  • Drive development and productivity actions through continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with functional leads to ensure improved communication.
  • Ensure perpetual inventory is carried out as per inventory schedule.
  • Control materials and finished goods, ensuring correct stock rotation on a FIFO basis.
  • Liaise with haulers' and outside contractors to ensure inbound and outbound costs and service levels are maintained at the highest levels.
  • Ensure that profit margin and customer service are maximized, and overstocks minimized.
  • Communicate information according to defined critical path to enable efficient planning, buying and delivery of products.
  • To ensure warehouse operations are compliant with HSE standards including TPW.
  • 5S/housekeeping standards in the area.
  • Responsible and accountable for Supply Chain Department's strategy to deliver Company objectives.
Skills Required:
  • Experienced in ERP within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Numerate, systematic and analytical thinking in a structure yet collaborative way.
  • Influencing, self-motivated with motivational skills.
  • Communication and be confident with people management, delegating and decision making.
  • Customer/supplier engagement and relationships.
  • Proven track record in a Senior Supply Chain role within a complex manufacturing environment.
