- Identify opportunities to drive growth, revenue and profits across existing account base
- Be fully responsible for the Sainsbury's account, with other accounts also under your remit
- Utilise existing relationships and business development skills to win new accounts in the UK grocery channel
- Agree JBPs, CPIs and negotiate contracts across your account base
- Work with the National Account Controller to execute agreed sales strategies
- Monitor trends in the market to stay ahead of competition
- Identify and understand the needs and future plans of your accounts
- Analyse sales data and anticipate market trends
- Report back to the business on performance and opportunities
- Prior experience working at national account level within the UK grocery channel
- MUST have prior experience of working with Sainsbury's
- Experience of working in food and drink across own label goods is required
- Experience working across additional UK grocers is a bonus
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, demonstrable experience in JBPs, CPIs
- Exceptional knowledge of the UK grocery channel
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Must be able to travel to a North London office 2-3 days a week
- A competitive salary of £58,000 - £60,000
- £6k car allowance
- Performance related bonus as a percentage of salary
