Job Type: Permanent / OnsiteMy client, a driving force in the Aerospace manufacturing industry are on the hunt for a Trainee Toolmaker to come in and join the team!Role and Responsibilities –
In this role you will look to be trained on all things within the Toolroom. This includes completing the manufacturing and assembly process of products through reading engineering drawings and utilising all tools.Other responsibilities include:
- Setting and operating of all Toolroom measuring equipment.
- Working With Heading machine Setter Operators
- Tool development, to support current and future production requirements
- To ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to carry out the tasks and repairs
- Degree or NVQ standard in a relevant engineering subject (Mechanical / Aerospace)
- Ability to be in a “hands on” environment and ideally have some previous experience
- Understanding Engineering Drawings and be able to react to manufacturing processes
- Experince in a fast paced manufacturing environment is highly desirable
