- Develops graphics, illustrations, UI elements, and other visual assets for digital, multimedia, responsive learning, and print solutions
- Implements design principles to successfully communicate visual solutions for a variety of subject matter
- Finds creative solutions for complex layouts and compositions
- Maintains a consistent look and feel for all visual assets within a given project
- Follows client provided brand guidelines when applicable
- Does appropriate research to support all scientific design or illustration, including consulting with the internal medical writing team and appropriate online references
- Keeps all working files and folders clean and organized as per RN standards
- Provides properly compressed output files to development team as per RN standards
- Regularly follows up with appropriate team members to confirm that a specific goal/task/job has been met
- Obtains the necessary technical specifications prior to developing any assets, ie browser limitations, responsivity, screen dimensions, printer requirements, etc.
- Follows art department production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and processes
- Becomes familiar with RN software engines and productivity tools
- Enters and tracks own time and expenses in time accounting software
- Provides PMs with educated time estimates for a given task, proposal, or client change when applicable
- Contributes to the company/department by proactively contributing to internal initiatives and occasionally participating in peer reviews or critique sessions
- Collaborates with RN AMs and team members to develop graphics, illustrations, etc. for proposals & pitches
- BA/BS/BFA in graphic design, interactive design, medical illustration or equivalent/relevant experience
- Proficiency with

- Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Adobe Acrobat
