
Senior Transport Planner

- Preparing and reviewing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Transport Statements, and other technical reports.
- Leading project delivery and managing client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Transport Planning and Infrastructure teams.
- Mentoring and delegating work to junior staff, supporting their technical development.
- Preparing fee proposals, managing budgets, and supporting business development opportunities.
- Attending client, local authority, and stakeholder meetings to present and discuss transport solutions.
- Major mixed-use urban extensions

- Has significant experience in a similar role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Holds a relevant degree (Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related).
- Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of transport planning guidance, policies, and modelling tools (e.g. Junctions 10/ARCADY, LINSIG, TRICS).
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience of producing high-quality technical reports.
- Has experience managing projects, clients, and budgets.
- Is working towards (or already holds) chartership with CIHT, ICE, or similar (training and support provided).
- Salary circa £45,000 (dependent on experience)
